Uncover Tarangire's Hidden Springs and Enchanting Wildlife: A Journey into the Heart of Nature

Discover Tarangire riverbed in search of underground springs, of rare species such as eland and oryx around each shrinking lagoon. On our final day, we will have a short game drive visiting Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem of jungle and forest. Here you can see baboons hanging from trees, flamingos in the lakes during migration, various bird species including pelicans, cormorants and storks and larger animals like giraffes, elephants and zebras.

Day 1: Overland Tarangire National Park

After early breakfast depart for your flight to Arusha, upon arrival you will guide and drive to Tarangire National Tanzania’s third largest National park and sanctuary for unusually large elephant populations. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, cheetahs and up to six thousand elephants, buffalos and zebras.

    • Day 2: Full Day; Ngorongoro Crater

    After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. High walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species.

    • Day 3: Karatu – Flight to Zanzibar Island

    After breakfast, we will depart from Karatu and head towards Manyara National Park with our packed lunch trailing the plains of Manyara National Park. Nestling at the base of Great Rift Valley escarpments, the park is recognized for its flamingos in the lake during migration, various birds’ species, Buffalos, Elephants, Giraffes, Impala, Hippo and large numbers of avian-fauna communities. Later in the afternoon slowly drive to Arusha town for your flight to Zanzibar.

    • Day 4: Full Day at Leisure

    Get relaxed and feel the breathtaking atmosphere of the Indian Ocean at the beautiful white sandy beaches and turquoise water that gently rolls onto the beach. You can spend the entire day if you decide to get active after all, you can take a stroll on the romantically secluded beach – a wonderful diversion from long hours of relaxing at the hotel.

    • Day 5: Private; Unforgettable Sea Adventure (Safari Blue)

    Picked up from the hotel and drive to Fumba, For an unforgettable day in Zanzibar a post breakfast drive will take you to Fumba Village, where you will hop on a traditional dhow boat to sail to the breathtaking Minai Bay home to a cluster of beautiful, uninhabited islands. Once you reach the destination, the dhow boat will be anchored in an idyllic spot, allowing you to swim around the island, snorkeling along the rich coral reefs, spot the frolicking dolphins or explore the pristine islets. Your day will have an interrupted mouthwatering buffet lunch on Kwale Island, where you can tuck into succulent calamari, freshly grilled fish, huge lobster and juicy tropical fruits under the shade of makuti roof facing the Indian Ocean. After a fantastic day out in the sun, you will return to Fumba Village on a lanteen sail back.

    Relax at the beautiful Beach of (Paje). This among the exotic beaches on the island has a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful white sandy beaches and turquoise water that gently rolls onto the beach.

    • Day 7: Departure from the Hotel

    After breakfast or lunch, you will depart from the hotel to drive to Zanzibar Airport for your International flights back home.
